Lakeland Honey Company & The Honey Barn offers locally collected natural raw honey and bee products as well as limited edition artisanal honey collected from the backyards of our neighbors in Lakeland Village Community.

Not all honey is created equal!

Just like wine, all raw honey is an artisanal food harvested for its sweet, delicious taste. Pure honey is made from the nectar of flowers and is the only food that never needs refrigeration and never spoils. Every bottle of our artisanal honey has it’s own distinctive personality determined by the type of nectar gathered by the honeybee. In fact, the flavor, color, aroma, and texture of any honey is determined by the unique combinations of the local floral source, the season and the region where it is produced.

At the Lakeland Honey Company we never filter, heat or cook our honey unlike many large honey producers heat, cook or water down their honey crops to prevent natural crystallization. This process also destroys the special properties which make honey such a unique "super" food.  To enjoy the full health benefits this delicious food has to offer it is always recommended to purchase only 100% pure, raw honey products from locally collected sources.
